Death Valley

Backtracking a little since I didn’t have time earlier.

Will rework the posts later on and add links so it can be followed.

Day 8, May 24th

Started the morning from Lone Pine where you still could see snow on the Sierra Nevada mountains in the west:

Down inside it we started getting hot, was hard dried clay outside the tarmac:

Had a break at Stovepipe Wells to fuel up and buy drinks and eat a little:

Some walking path in Death Valley and people actually went walking, was hot enough as it was traveling on a motorcycle:

Further down the road they had some tourist place where they had put a really old school tractor on display:

And the suite at the Imperial Palace we ended up in, a bit pricier then we had planned but we made up for it the next morning, see post about day 9:
